Anthony L. Williams is Vice President and Senior Investment Officer at Meridian Management Group. He is responsible for the daily management and operations of Community Development Ventures, Inc. (CDV), MMG Ventures (MMG) and the Maryland Small Business Development Financing Authority (MSBDFA), including financial, regulatory and corporate review and analysis of the company’s investment activities.

Prior to joining Meridian Management Group, Mr. Williams was President and CEO of Broadcast Capital Fund, Inc. and Broadcast Capital, Inc., a venture capital fund based in Washington, DC. From 1989 to 1994, he was Vice President & Corporate Secretary at W&J Management Company, Inc.\Syndicated Communications, Inc., a telecommunications venture capital firm known as “Syncom.”

Mr. Williams has extensive experience in government business and real estate financing. He began his career in the Department of Housing and Urban Development and worked in the District of Columbia’s Office of Business and Economic Development.

Mr. Williams holds a BA from the University of California at Irvine. He received his Juris Doctors and Masters in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.

Board Service: Mr. Williams has served on the boards of the National Association of Investment Companies, Minority Media Telecommunications Council and the Minority Business Legal Defense and Education Fund.
