At Freddie Mac, Rebecca Mundopa McCabe leads the accounting and reporting for income taxes process associated with average taxable income in excess of $9 billion. In this role, Rebecca manages the tax team’s relationships with various stakeholders such as External Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Legal, Internal and External Audit, the IRS and other taxing authorities. As Finance Assistant Treasurer, Rebecca is responsible for the risk assessment and mitigating control identification for all aspects of the division’s cash payments.

Rebecca serves as a CreditSmart instructor, providing financial education in her local community. She served as a big sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization for four years before moving to the Washington DC area, after which time she has maintained close relationship with her little sister. Rebecca is an avid sports fan and enjoys tennis playing tennis and swimming.

Rebecca is a certified public accountant. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and French from Slippery Rock University and obtained her MBA from the George Washington University.
